Redebel has been at the forefront of research and development and has been performing trials with biocontrol products and biostimulants for several years now.

Biocontrol products and biostimulants sometimes require specific application requirements. Redebel is committed to applying your products under ideal temperature and humidity conditions.

The assessment panel foreseen to evaluate products must also be adapted according to the type of product used. In addition to visual assessments, Redebel offers different types of measurements such as chlorophyll content or image analysis via drone.

We are also active in various working groups, notably Technical Committee 455, in charge of biostimulants, of the European Committee for Standardisation (CEN). The purpose of this committee is to provide new harmonised standards to implement the new Regulation (EU) No 2019/1009.

We have also been collaborating with universities and research centres for several years with a view to developing guidelines leading to a standardised assessment of these types of products.

Redebel has recently developed a research project focused on biostimulants which began on October 1, 2020 and will run for a period of three years.

The aim of the project is to take certain biostimulants and identify potential correlations between the efficacy results of tests conducted under controlled conditions and the results of field trials.

In parallel with the field trials conducted by Redebel, ULiège and UCLouvain will set up laboratory tests under controlled conditions.

Redebel has engaged in this project with a view to optimising the research and development of new biostimulant products by offering targeted studies to determine the effectiveness of your product.
